On December 31st 2022, a very special adventure starts for Rymax Lubricants brand ambassador Wesley Aaldering. In the deserts of Saudi Arabia, he will participate in the 45th edition of the world’s biggest Rally raid: Dakar.

How a small rally, with 50 participants, grew to be the 2nd biggest in the world and on African soil.

In 2018 Herman participated for the very first time in the Morocco Desert Challenge with his navigator Marnix. Now he is looking back on his experiences of last year and talking about his goals for this year’s edition. Read on to see what Herman learned from the first time and what he is doing this year.

On Saturday the 20th of April the Rymax Racing Team crossed the finish line in Oujda. An exhausting 8 days of extreme rally raid has come to an end with ups and downs. Time for a quick recap. The three members of the Rymax Racing Team and their machines gave it their all, even approaching top 10 positions in the overall ranking for the SSV of Herman Peene, the 4x4 of Vincent Thijs and the truck of Eimbert Timmermans half way through the rally. But approaching the last stages, a lot has happened to our heroes.

Rymax Lubricants and Norwegian drift driver Simen Olsen have agreed on a sponsorship for the 2022 season. The 2021 Formula Drift ‘Rookie of the Year’ has a clear ambition: become the number 1 drifter in the world. Rymax Lubricants is proud to be part of this journey and strongly identifies with the big challenge Simen and his team commit themselves to.

July 2021, Monaco – From the 6th to the 11th of July, the eighth edition of the prestigious Monaco Energy Boat Challenge took place in the port of the microstate in the French Riviera. ‘Photon’, the Dutch solarboat from the students of the HAN University, sponsored by Rymax Lubricants, exceeded many expectations with a 3rd place podium finish.
