Gatebil is the biggest and most famous festival in Scandinavia where an entire weekend is focused on cars. In 2018, Rymax was present at one of Gatebil’s festivals with Rymax brand ambassador Fredric Aasbø. The spirit of the festival, the atmosphere, and all the carlovers present at this event were so impressive and in line with the Rymax brand values that a partnership seemed like a natural thing to do.

After many years as the official Rymax Brand Ambassador, Fredric Aasbø and Rymax have parted their ways. Both look back satisfied on the partnership. We thank Fredric for the great memories and wish him good luck in the future!

Stage 5 is 275 km with a little bit of everything. The sand plains from Fezzou to Marabout, the MHarech canyon, the dunes of Ouzina, more lingering tracks through sandy oueds and a first crossing of the Erg Chebbi to round off!

Racing extreme rally-raids is not for everyone. You have to push yourself and your vehicle to the limits. You have to perform in the most extreme circumstances and dare to risk everything.

The Morocco Desert Challenge is halfway through, time for an update. We have seen some great action from the Rymax Racing Team and great performances by the Rymax Truck of Eimbert Timmermans, the 4x4 car of Vincent Thijs and the SSV of Herman Peene. Approaching the dunes of Merzouga, it is time to show you the best images of the last 4 days, heading into the second part of Morocco Desert Challenge.

Things are getting serious, check out our report of day 2! Stage 2 is the longest, 470 km from Plage Blanche to Touzounine. Vincent Thijs came in seventh, despite 3 flat tires.

The Morocco Desert Challenge is literally days away and Herman and his team are giving the Can-Am Maverick X3 a test run before heading off to Morocco.

Stage 7 runs from Boudnib to Matarka and is 410 km long. It's a lovely mixture of winding WRC tracks, plains and some technical parts. We see Herman and Marnix helping another car out, who got stuck in the sand.
